About the role
We are seeking a highly experienced Mechanical Engineers to lead the design, analysis, and execution of complex Hydro Generator projects. You will leverage your expertise in rotating electrical machines to create 3D models, oversee technical documentation, and mentor team members while collaborating across functional systems like Turbines, auxiliaries and Balance of Plant.
What you'll do
- Execute the design, analysis, or evaluation of assigned projects using sound engineering principles and adhering to business standards, practices, procedures
- This work would include mechanical engineering for Hydro Generators and systems
- Do analytical design calculations, Prepare Basic design layouts, 3 D models and drawings. Review drawings and BOM. Conduct cross-functional and internal design reviews
- Provide technical support and solution to supply chain, manufacturing and site installation teams
- Acts as a mentor for colleagues with less experience. Lead projects with complex contractual requirements. Discuss technical solution with client
