About the role
As a Shift In Charge, you will lead shop floor operations for sheet metal fabrication, ensuring you meet production targets, quality standards, and safety practices. You will manage a team of operators and technicians, oversee CNC punching operations, and improve programmes. You will report to Production Supervisor and will work onsite in Kancheepuram.
What you'll do
- Production Management Manage shift-wise production activities to achieve daily targets
- Ensure optimum use of workforce, machines, and materials
- Coordinate with planning team for production scheduling and execution
- Manpower Handling & Team Management Manage shift workforce (operators, helpers, technicians)
- Monitor operator performance, discipline, attendance, and productivity
