About the role
As a Trainee – Machine Shop, you will support daily shopfloor operations and learn core manufacturing processes. You will work closely with the production team under supervision, gaining hands-on experience in machine operations, quality checks, and safety practices. This is an onsite role based in Kancheepuram, reporting to the Production Supervisor.
What you'll do
- Support day-to-day machine shop operations
- Operate and support machines such as punching, drilling, tapping, and powder coating
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and follow safety guidelines
- Support production targets related to quality and productivity
- Support basic machine setup, measurement, and inspection activities
