About the role
Digital Core provides the resilient, secure and scalable digital foundation supporting Siemens Energy’s global operations and digital transformation. Within Digital Core, the new Supplier and License Management department combines strategic supplier governance, software License Management and the operational capabilities required to manage software assets and licensing services effectively.
What you'll do
- Define and execute the global License Management technology strategy, including the target architecture, capability roadmap, sourcing approach, integration model
- Prepare the organization for emerging software consumption models, including token-, credit-, capacity-, transaction-, and AI-consumption-based licensing
- Establish the data, metering, forecasting, allocation, reporting, and control capabilities required to govern these models
- Modernize the current SAM and License Management platform landscape, addressing capability gaps across the portfolio
- Own the global engineering license-service landscape, including complex license-server environments, concurrent licensing technologies, service dependencies
