About the role
The adventure begins right here, with you, at SITA PURPOSE We are seeking a highly technical Engineering Manager who has progressed from a Software Developer to Technical Lead and ultimately into Engineering Management. This role is not a traditional Project Manager or Scrum Master position.
What you'll do
- Drive technical decision-making and ensure architectural choices align with product strategy and long-term business objectives
- Review and challenge proposed designs to ensure scalability, maintainability, performance, security, and operational excellence
- Lead technical roadmap definition and execution
- Guide teams in adopting engineering best practices, coding standards, design patterns, and modern development methodologies
- Assess technical feasibility, technical debt, and implementation complexity during planning exercises
