About the role
Will be responsible for the review and assessment of credit risk and will seek approval from relevant authorities by preparing the analysis material. Geographical / Functional Coverage – India, Credit Department (2nd line)
What you'll do
- Independently review and assess diverse credit applications submitted by Business Units, providing objective and thorough evaluations
- Prepare clear, concise executive summaries for submission to approval authorities, highlighting key credit risks and recommendations
- Collaborate with senior credit officers to develop a deep understanding of legal documentation and proactively review term sheets and credit agreements
- Support incumbent credit officers and senior management in credit evaluation, underwriting, and portfolio management activities
- Develop and implement action plans to address credits showing signs of deterioration
