SolidWorks Mechanical Design Engineer at Switchgear and Control Technics. Design and develop mechanical components, enclosures, frames, and assemblies for electrical panels, switchgear, and control systems.
What you'll do
- Create detailed 3D models, engineering drawings, and technical specifications using SolidWorks
- Perform design analysis to ensure mechanical components can withstand operational loads, thermal conditions, and environmental stresses
- Collaborate with the electrical design team to ensure seamless integration of electrical and mechanical elements in panel assemblies
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards (such as IEC, UL, IS) and company specifications in all mechanical designs
- Conduct design validation and prototype testing to verify the performance and functionality of mechanical components
