About the role
The Toolmaker will be responsible for manufacturing, assembling, maintaining, and repairing tools, dies, moulds, jigs, and fixtures used in production. The role requires hands-on experience in tool room operations and the ability to work with precision and accuracy. The Toolmaker will be responsible for manufacturing, assembling, maintaining, and repairing tools, dies, moulds, jigs, and fixtures used in production.
What you'll do
- Manufacture, assemble, and repair tools, dies, jigs, fixtures, and moulds as per drawings
- Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and tolerances
- Operate conventional machines such as Lathe, Milling, Surface Grinding, and Drilling machines
- Support tool trials, modifications, and continuous improvement activities
- Carry out preventive maintenance to ensure tool life and performance
