Senior Azure Virtual Desktop Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Azure Virtual Desktop Engineer to support the deployment, validation, and operationalization of a secure, scalable, and production-ready Azure Virtual Desktop environment. This role will focus on AVD platform deployment, image management, application onboarding, production readiness, operational support, and post-deployment stabilization.

What you'll do

• Deploy, configure, and administer Azure Virtual Desktop host pools, workspaces, application groups, session hosts, and user assignments
• Support pooled and personal desktop environments, session management, load balancing, scaling plans, and performance optimization activities
• Configure and support FSLogix profile containers, profile policies, permissions, storage integration, and profile-related troubleshooting
• Create, maintain, validate, and optimize Windows desktop images for pilot and production environments
• Work with application owners to validate installation requirements, compatibility, dependencies, and production readiness
