About the role
To provide prompt, safe, and effective nursing care to patients presenting with medical emergencies, trauma, critical illnesses, and other urgent conditions. The ER Nurse is responsible for rapid assessment, triage, emergency interventions, continuous monitoring, and coordination with the emergency medical team.
What you'll do
- A. Patient Assessment and Triage
- Assess patients immediately upon arrival and identify life-threatening conditions
- Perform triage according to hospital policy and approved triage protocols
- Record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, respiratory rate, temperature, oxygen saturation, and pain score
- Recognize deterioration and promptly escalate care
