Account Executive

About the role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to manage the financial operations of our D2C/E-commerce business. The role is critical for ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance, and reconciliation across multiple online sales channels and payment gateways. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with e-commerce accounting, including marketplace settlements, GST compliance, inventory valuation, and vendor reconciliation.

What you'll do

• Maintain day-to-day accounting records including sales, purchases, expenses, and journal entries
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, including vendor and marketplace payment reconciliations
• Prepare and maintain the general ledger, trial balance, and monthly/quarterly financial statements
• Ensure accurate revenue recognition across multiple sales channels (own website, Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, Nykaa, etc.)
• Reconcile marketplace settlements, commissions, TCS/TDS deductions, and payment gateway statements (Razorpay, PayU, Cashfree, etc.)

What you need
