Accountant (Property Accounting)

The type of transactions we currently work on range from multifamily apartment communities to large-scale office towers across the United States and European markets, and range in value sizes from $25 million USD – $500+ million USD.

What you'll do

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for real estate properties in accordance with GAAP
• Oversee monthly and year-end close , including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and financial statements
• Assist in the preparation of annual property budgets and forecasts ; monitor budget variances and provide detailed analysis and explanations for deviations
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledger entries for all property-related transactions, including rent, expenses, accruals, and capital expenditures
• Oversee AP and AR processes for property transactions, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely processing

What you need

• 4–8 yrs of experience
• Accounting
