Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a precise, ownership-driven Accountant to own the books for both our US and India entities. Your first major task will be reconciling Sanctuary’s financial records in QuickBooks across the past 3 years. That means reviewing historical records, identifying discrepancies, and getting everything fully reconciled and up to date.

What you'll do

• Full ownership of the books across all US entities in QuickBooks Online and the India entity in Tally: entries, categorization, and accuracy
• Reconciling the past 3 years of records: backtracking all invoices paid to date, identifying outstanding amounts, and flagging what is still owed, to whom, and by when
• Tracking and managing all incoming and outgoing invoices across entities, including construction-side payments previously managed by the team
• Intercompany transactions and reconciliation between the US and India entities
• Consolidation of books of accounts between holding companies and subsidiaries

What you need

• 4–8 yrs of experience
• TDS
• Tally
• Reconciliation
• QuickBooks
• Bookkeeping
• Accounting
• Chartered Accountant
