Accounting Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Manager, APAC Accounting to join our team at EDB, reporting directly to the Director, Assistant Controller. In this hands-on leadership role, you will lead our India-based APAC accounting team of three, supported by outsourced accounting providers in selected jurisdictions, and own accounting, month-end close and statutory compliance across EDB’s APAC entities.

What you'll do

• Lead, mentor and develop the APAC accounting team, setting priorities, managing performance and ensuring coverage and cross-training across entities
• Oversee outsourced accounting providers in selected jurisdictions, ensuring accurate and timely delivery
• Serve as the regional finance lead and escalation point for APAC accounting, partnering with senior leaders across functions
• Month-End Close & Financial Reporting
• Own the APAC month-end close across all entities, including journal review and approval, accruals, intercompany entries and balance sheet reconciliations
