Accounting Manager - US GAAP

About the role

The Accounting Manager leads the India-based accounting teams responsible for operating, construction, and corporate accounting, overseeing both functional and generalist work across assigned portfolios and entities. This role owns the review and quality of the team’s deliverables, manages workload and close timelines, and develops accountants at multiple levels, while partnering closely with the Head of Accounting and onshore accounting leadership.

What you'll do

• Review & Quality Control
• Review journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and supporting schedules prepared by the operating, construction
• Review monthly financial statement packages and variance analyses for assigned portfolios and entities
• Review operating accounting activities, including property tax and insurance entries, straight-line rent true-ups, elimination entries, recurring accruals
• Review construction accounting activities, including the data entry of project budgets, commitments, actual costs, change orders
