About the role

Why do we exist? What do we do? The quality of school education available to students from low-income communities across India is abysmal. Their chances of attending college, or building a career are significantly lower than their high-income peers, condemning them to a life without voice or choice. iTeach was born in 2015 to challenge this status quo and create a level playing field for ALL children.

What you'll do

• The Accounts Associate will work directly with the Accounts Manager
• The Accounts Associate will work with internal and external stakeholders of the organisation
• Handle all accounting transactions such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, receipts, bank reconciliations, etc
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings
• Review and update financial vouchers for schools and the central office

What you need

• 2–5 yrs of experience
• Tally
• Accounting
• TDS
• Compliance
• Reconciliation
• Accounts payable
• B.Com

Good to have

• Excel
• Income tax
• Labour law
• Accounts receivable
