Advanced Lead Engineer Combustion Aero Design

About the role

Release down-selected designs or solution strategies for rig and engine testing, by going through proper review processes. Strive for continuous improvement of design processes and tools. Demonstrate technical skills and analytic thinking required to solve problems. May use multiple internal sources outside of own team to arrive at decisions.

What you'll do

• Perform hi-fidelity CFD analysis to meet combustor aero performance requirements on durability, emissions
• Be working with a multi-site global team to understand performance shortfalls, evaluate and propose design solutions to improve performance
• Work with team members of varied experience: provide guidance to less experienced team members, and take help from more experienced members as required
• Use prior experience and on-the-job training to solve straightforward tasks

What you need

• 3–8 yrs of experience
• C++
• Siemens NX
• C
• B.Tech or B.E. or PhD
