About the role

Advanced Oilfield Chemicals Engineer (MIC Specialist) at ExxonMobil. Knowledgeable in microbial processes to support ExxonMobil’s asset integrity program by leading advanced detection, monitoring.

What you'll do

  • Develop technical scope of work and define associated chemical requirements for evaluation and selection of new/replacement oilfield chemicals including safety
  • Develop and optimize chemical treatment programs and methods to meet asset integrity and production goals
  • Participate in designing the matrix and protocol for Oil field chemical lab qualification. Interpret data and participate in technology transfers
  • Develop and optimize chemical monitoring programs to monitor/surveillance both chemical delivery and chemical performance for integrity
  • Serve as Oilfield Chemicals Subject Matter Expert (SME) and engage with chemical supplier personnel to review proposals and provide revised/new recommendations as needed
