Aerial Sensor Operator

About the role

While deployed in the field, the airborne sensor operator is responsible for operating airborne remote sensors or cameras to collect data. In addition, the operator is responsible for setting up ground-based GPS stations and downloading and shipping data and film. While in the office, the operator is responsible for QC of data or other duties as assigned.

What you'll do

• While deployed, operate airborne remote sensors or cameras to collect data
• While deployed, set up ag round-based GPS station
• While deployed, download and ship data or film gathered after mission completion
• While in the office, perform QC of data sets
• Generate and or review flight plants for data acquisition missions. Prepare post-mission flight logs and reports
