AI Engineer/ Developer

About the role

The role suits a keen learner who adapts quickly to a new working environment, builds a solid understanding of AMETEK products and engineering workflows, and grows into independent delivery of assigned tasks.

What you'll do

• Implement well-defined components in Python, such as data preparation, document-processing pipelines, RAG components, prompts, scripts and APIs
• Support testing and evaluation of solutions, and document results, code and setup clearly
• Quickly learn the team’s tools, platforms, coding standards and engineering domain context
• Seek and act on feedback from reviews; use version control and team practices consistently
• Work with the Technical Lead - AI and BU engineers to understand needs and support user testing and feedback
