Analyst or Senior Analyst – Detailed Design (Civil) Engineering

About the role

We are looking for a resourceful candidate to join the India office of DESRI, i.e., DESRI India Private Limited, based in Hyderabad, India. The candidate will be a part of Design and Engineering team and will regularly interact with the U.S. and Hyderabad-based teams, as well as external parties.

What you'll do

• Lead or support civil detailed design for utility-scale PV projects from concept to Issue for Construction (IFC), ensuring designs are accurate, constructible
• Develop and refine site layouts, grading, and drainage using AutoCAD Civil 3D; evaluate tracker slope tolerances, spacing, shading/obstructions, and constructability
• Perform mass-grading/cut-fill analyses and optimize earthwork balance; plan access roads, internal circulation, laydown areas, and substation/collector pads
• Execute hydrologic and stormwater analyses (flood, erosion, inundation), and propose mitigation (e.g., channels, culverts, energy dissipation, erosion control)
• Consolidate topographic, geotechnical, environmental, and civil datasets to drive layout iterations; run multiple optimizations passes and clearly summarize trade-offs
