AP & AR Analyst

About the role

This role owns the full procure-to-pay and order-to-cash cycle: paying vendors accurately and on time, and invoicing and collecting from customers efficiently. You will run day-to-day AP and AR operations, perform the bank reconciliation and keep the ledgers audit-ready. You will also improve processes and act as the main point of escalation for vendors & customers.

What you'll do

• Review, code and process vendor invoices (PO and non-PO) with accurate GL coding, cost centre and tax treatment
• Obtain required approvals before posting and ensure invoices follow company policy
• Prepare payment runs for review and approval; assist with releasing payments by bank transfer, cheque or wire
• Maintain the vendor master: onboarding, KYC and bank detail verification, changes, deactivation and duplicate checks to prevent fraud
• Reconcile vendor statements and the AP sub-ledger to the general ledger; clear unmatched items, debit balances and aged payables
