Application Engineer-ROMeo

About the role

Real Time Optimization Engineer is involved in implementation and Sustainment of ROMeo (Rigorous Online Modelling and Equation Based Optimization) Process Optimization applications, primarily in refinery and petrochemical units. This role requires strong technical and communication skills, including the ability to understand customer requirements, troubleshoot issues, and ensure timely project delivery.

What you'll do

• Monitor KPIs to improve performance
• Conduct real-time optimizations for operating facilities to improve efficiency and reduce costs
• Analyze data from various sources, such as process variables, instrumentation, and control systems, to identify opportunities for improvement
• Develop and maintain Real Time Optimization (RTO), Reconciliation, and Economic models using AVEVA's ROMeo application
• Analyze technical requirements, build models, and conduct technical and economic sensitivities to support product enhancements

What you need

• 5–10 yrs of experience
