About the role

Citi is looking for an Applications Development Analyst to join its Banking Operations Technology team in Chennai, contributing to the design, development, and continuous improvement of Salesforce and ETL-based application systems. In this role, you will work alongside experienced engineers to build and refine solutions that directly support banking operations and enhance how technology serves internal business functions.

What you'll do

Build and enhance application features by applying knowledge of development procedures, system concepts
Develop Salesforce and ETL solutions that address complex business and systems challenges within the Banking Operations environment
Analyze application issues, assess potential approaches, and implement well-reasoned solutions that align with system and business requirements
Write, test, and debug code to meet design specifications, using appropriate scripting tools and programming techniques
Evaluate information and apply judgement to recommend improvements that increase system effectiveness and operational reliability
