Applied AI & Analytics Summer Intern

About the role

The team works across cloud infrastructure, data engineering and applied AI, including large language models and predictive modelling. By joining the team, you will contribute to solutions that improve how we build, operate and deliver our products, while developing experience in using AI effectively and responsibly.

What you'll do

• Build innovative artificial intelligence solutions within a data platform team, including language models, AI tooling and predictive models
• Take ownership of an AI initiative and drive it through to a working and measurable outcome during the internship
• Design and build AI solutions using large language models, including retrieval-augmented generation, model evaluation and agentic tooling
• Gather, clean and analyse operational data to identify trends and establish baselines for modelling
• Build and evaluate predictive models for job runtimes, queue wait times and capacity requirements
