Area Sales Manager - Delhi

About the role

The incumbent plans sales strategies and activities required to drive the unit placement target and sales target within the division. The ultimate objective is to grow sales and margin and to increase market share though effective promotion, demonstration and sales efforts and by aggressively defending achieved market share against competition within the industry/materials Science field.

What you'll do

• Drive sales growth and achieve revenue, order intake, unit placement, and profitability targets for Leica Life Science microscopy solutions within the assigned territory
• Promote and sell Leica's portfolio of research microscopes, fluorescence microscopes, confocal microscopy systems, super-resolution imaging systems
• Develop strong relationships with Principal Investigators (PIs), Scientists, Faculty Members, Clinicians, Pathologists, Research Scholars, Core Facility Managers
• Develop and execute territory business plans to identify, qualify, and convert opportunities within universities, IITs, IISERs, CSIR laboratories, DBT institutes
• Understand customer research workflows and provide consultative, value-based selling by matching Leica solutions to scientific applications such as cell biology

What you need
