Assembly Technician

About the role

The Assembly Technician will be responsible for electrical wiring, assembly, soldering, crimping, and testing of electronic equipment in accordance with Electrical Wiring Diagrams (EWD). The role requires hands-on experience with single-phase and three-phase high-voltage equipment, PCB and HMI wiring, electrical and pneumatic crimping tools, soldering, electrical connectors, and cable identification.

What you'll do

• Study and interpret Electrical Wiring Diagrams (EWD) and perform equipment wiring accordingly
• Assemble electronic equipment operating on single-phase and three-phase electrical supplies, including Star and Delta connections
• Perform electrical and pneumatic crimping using appropriate tools and equipment
• Carry out wiring on equipment incorporating PCB boards and touchscreen HMI display boards
• Operate automatic and manual soldering stations, including POT soldering equipment

What you need

• 3–6 yrs of experience
• Wiring
• ITI or Diploma
