About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the GDS Risk Management Services (RMS) Innovation Risk function in Gurgaon, India. We are looking for an experienced professional to join our team as Assistant Director- Policy Lead Support focusing on regulatory and public policy for AI and emerging technologies.

What you'll do

• Work closely with the Global Policy Lead to develop and implement the organization’s Responsible AI policy approach
• Contribute to guidance on emerging topics such as AI transparency, accountability, sovereign AI, higher-risk AI applications and open-source AI
• Collaborate with Public Policy, Legal/GCO, Compliance, Risk Management, InfoSec
• Help translate regulatory expectations into practical controls, implementation plans and risk-management materials
• Prepare regulatory updates and supporting materials for AI governance forums
