Assistant Indirect Tax – Gurugram

About the role

The purpose of the job role is to assist in the management of the organization’s indirect tax compliance and advisory activities. The role involves providing guidance and advice to clients on best practices for managing their GST Return Filing. This includes managing GST compliance, prepare and file GST returns, reconcile GST data, and ensure adherence to applicable tax regulations.

What you'll do

• Prepare and file monthly, quarterly, and annual GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, etc.)
• Reconcile purchase, sales, and GST records with books of accounts. Verify input tax credit (ITC) claims and resolve discrepancies
• Maintain GST-related documentation and records. Coordinate with internal departments and clients for GST compliance requirements
• Monitor changes in GST laws and ensure compliance with updated regulations
