Assistant Manager

About the role

To lead and supervise API manufacturing operations for the assigned production area/plant, ensuring safe, compliant, efficient and timely production in line with the production plan, quality standards, GMP requirements and EHS guidelines. The role is responsible for shift operations, manpower deployment, batch execution, productivity, yield, process compliance, documentation and continuous improvement.

What you'll do

• A. Production Planning & Execution
• Execute the daily, weekly and monthly production plan for the assigned manufacturing area
• Ensure timely completion of batches within approved cycle times
• Monitor production performance against plan and take corrective actions for gaps
• Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, equipment and manufacturing capacity
