Assistant Manager - Costing

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Assistant Manager – Costing to manage plant-level costing, financial analysis, inventory valuation, and cost optimisation activities at our Tumkur facility. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in the food processing industry, sound analytical capabilities, and the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams to improve cost efficiency and support business decisions.

What you'll do

• Product Costing & Cost Analysis
• Prepare and maintain product costing and standard cost sheets covering raw materials, packaging materials, labour, and manufacturing overheads
• Conduct actual versus standard cost variance analysis and identify key cost drivers
• Analyse material consumption, production yield, wastage, conversion costs, and manufacturing efficiencies
• Support new product costing, cost feasibility assessments, and profitability analysis

What you need

• 10–18 yrs of experience
• Costing
• Tally
• Accounting
• MIS reporting
• Excel
• Budgeting
• M.Com or B.Com or CMA
