About the role

We are seeking an experienced Credit Underwriter / Credit Underwriting Analyst to evaluate and approve credit applications across retail, SME, commercial, or corporate lending portfolios. The role involves conducting in-depth financial analysis, assessing borrower creditworthiness , evaluating collateral and covenant structures , and ensuring alignment with internal credit policies and regulatory guidelines .

What you'll do

• Conduct detailed financial statement analysis including income statement, balance sheet
• Prepare financial spreads and standardize borrower financials in internal credit systems. Ensure accuracy, completeness
• Perform comprehensive credit risk assessment by analyzing business models, industry dynamics
• Draft credit appraisal notes and risk assessment reports for new and existing exposures. Clearly highlight key risks, mitigants, covenant structures
