Assistant Manager / Deputy Manager, HSE, Consumables

About the role

We are looking for an Assistant Manager / Deputy Manager, HSE to join our HSE team in the Consumables business area. In this role, you will lead the implementation of the CNS HSE Way of Working at Vadodara Foundry, helping to identify, control and verify critical risks while strengthening operational discipline, building competence and driving sustainable HSE improvement.

What you'll do

• Lead and maintain the foundry risk profile, risk register and critical risk priorities, including HIRAC and other risk assessment processes for high-risk work
• Define, implement, verify and periodically review critical controls, driving engineering-based risk reduction and escalating ineffective or missing controls
• Coach leaders and supervisors in visible safety leadership, quality risk conversations, Stop Work Authority and competence development for high-risk roles
• Lead or support incident investigations, including high-potential events, and verify the effectiveness of corrective and preventive actions
• Use audits, inspections, observations and performance data to identify systemic improvement opportunities and strengthen operational learning
