Assistant Manager Electrical Design Review (Solar Projects)

About the role

Responsible for reviewing and validating electrical designs for solar PV projects, ensuring technical accuracy, electrical safety, regulatory compliance, and adherence to project specifications. The role involves managing design review activities, coordinating with clients and EPC teams, ensuring quality deliverables, and supporting technical due diligence and owner's/lender's engineering assignments.

What you'll do

• Review and validate AC/DC electrical designs for solar PV projects, including single-line diagrams (SLDs), electrical schematics, and grid interconnection layouts
• Verify sizing and selection of PV modules, inverters, DC combiner boxes, transformers, RMUs, HT/LT panels, and associated electrical equipment
• Review DC and AC cable sizing calculations, voltage drop, ampacity, derating factors, and cable routing layouts
• Validate earthing and lightning protection system designs in accordance with applicable standards
• Review short-circuit calculations, load-flow studies, protection coordination, and electrical system studies

What you need
