Assistant Manager / Senior Engineer, Process Engineering

About the role

Assistant Manager / Senior Engineer, Process Engineering at IMI Precision Engineering. Design and optimize assembly line layouts, including pneumatic automation systems such as actuators, valves, and control logic for semi-automated manufacturing processes.

What you'll do

• Develop Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), and equipment specifications to integrate automation systems with production workflows
• Conduct risk assessments, safety evaluations, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities related to fluid dynamics, hydraulics, pneumatics, and manufacturing equipment
• Ensure compliance with Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) standards by conducting risk assessments, implementing safe work practices
• Maintain compliance with automotive and manufacturing quality standards, including IATF 16949 and ISO 9001
• Collaborate with R&D and cross-functional teams to evaluate manufacturability and implement Design for Assembly (DFA) improvements during new product development

What you need
