Assistant Manager / Senior Production Engineer - Heavy Engineering Fabrication

About the role

The ideal candidate will possess 10 to 12 years of hands-on shop floor experience in heavy engineering fabrication and should have a strong understanding of fabrication methodologies, welding processes, production planning, resource optimization, quality requirements, and statutory fabrication codes.

What you'll do

• Plan, schedule, and monitor fabrication activities to achieve project delivery milestones
• Prepare daily and weekly production plans based on project priorities and manufacturing capacity
• Coordinate fabrication activities involving pressure vessels, process skids, structural assemblies, ducting, stacks, and other static equipment
• Review engineering drawings, fabrication drawings, General Arrangement (GA) drawings, Bill of Materials (BOM), welding maps
• Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machinery, consumables, and shop floor resources
