Assistant Manager - TAX - National - TAX - GCR - ACR - Chennai

About the role

We are looking for an experienced finance professional to join EY’s Accounting Compliance and Reporting team as an Assistant Manager. The role will involve managing end-to-end accounting and financial reporting activities, supporting statutory and regulatory compliance, coordinating month-end and year-end closure, and delivering high-quality outcomes for multiple stakeholders.

What you'll do

• Oversee month-end and year-end closing, including journal entries, reconciliations and financial schedules
• Prepare or review financial statements under Indian GAAP or Ind AS, including notes to accounts
• Support statutory audits, internal audits and other external audit requirements
• Manage TDS-related activities, including preparation and review of data required for TDS returns
• Support GST compliance through preparation and review of purchase registers, sales registers, RCM data and related reconciliations
