About the role
The Shared Application Platform Engineering team is to provide the enterprise configuration and support for integration technologies such as IBM Middleware tools like MQ and ensure the platform stability and process improvement. Responsibilities include planning, support, and implementation of application platform infrastructure to include operational processes and procedures.
What you'll do
- Handle MQ Admin BAU activities such as manage QMGRs & Objects/maintenance/patching/ configurations etc
- Scheduling and Monitoring MQ backups & performing housekeeping and daily health check
- Install & Configure IBM MQ
- Support Project for MQ upgrade or migrate to new version and apply Fixpack/Interim Fixpack, Refresh Pack/Ifix etc
- Setting up new QMGRs and its object
What you need
- 7–13 yrs of experience
- Linux
- Shell scripting
- Ansible
- SOP writing
- Root cause analysis
- B.Sc or B.Tech or B.E. or BCA
