Assistant Peer Review Performance Manager

About the role

The Assistant Peer Review Performance Manager oversees day-to-day business-as-usual peer review performance for a segment of the Research Publishing journal portfolio. The role assesses editor and editorial office performance across assigned journals, monitors progress against expected behaviours and key performance indicators (KPIs), and drives improvements that support best practices and a positive author experience throughout the author lifecycle.

What you'll do

• Oversee the day-to-day management of peer review and journal editorial office services
• Oversee and evaluate editor and editorial office administrator performance across the assigned segment of the Research Publishing portfolio
• Drive continuous improvement, workflow optimization, and the adoption of peer review best practices and standards across the portfolio
• Focus on value-added strategies and tactics that support the delivery of editorial decisions, including speed to decision, the quality of the author experience
• Seek guidance on remedial action plans, as appropriate
