Assistant Vice President, Legal at OCM. Based in Hyderabad and reporting to the Senior Vice-President, Legal (Singapore / Asia), this is a new role within Oaktree's expanding Asia legal team.

What you'll do

• Based in Hyderabad and reporting to the Senior Vice-President, Legal (Singapore / Asia), this is a new role within Oaktree's expanding Asia legal team
• Assist on transactions varying in scale and scope, primarily distressed debt, real estate and special situations transactions within India
• Support the broader APAC legal team on transactions across the region, partnering closely with Oaktree investment teams
• Advise on and support the structuring, establishment and ongoing maintenance of India-regulated investment vehicles
• Liaise with and manage Indian and regional external counsel (law firms and regulatory consultants) in connection with investment execution

What you need

• 10–18 yrs of experience
