Associate Consultant - ESDD

About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient Associate Consultant to join our Sustainability & Business Advisory. The successful candidate will play a critical role in executing Environmental, Social, and Governance Due Diligence (ESGDD) and Impact Assessments for a diverse portfolio of clients, including Private Equity and Venture Capital Firms, Development Finance Institutions (DFIs), investment banks, and corporate clients.

What you'll do

• Execute desktop and field-based ESDD
• Review project information, permits, land details, and existing E&S documentation to identify critical compliance gaps and reputational risks
• Assess material E&S risks, including biodiversity impacts, water resource management, labor conditions, community health & safety, and cultural heritage
• Perform climate risk and vulnerability assessments as part of the broader ESG review
• Develop pragmatic and costed Environmental & Social Action Plans (ESAP) to mitigate identified risks
