About the role
Associate Design Engineer (Fixture Design) at Koch. We are seeking a proficient and motivated Mechanical Design Engineer (Fixture Designer) with basic understanding in fixture design, GD&T, machining.
What you'll do
- Design and sustenance of Gauge and Fixtures for the quality team, to hold and measure our products on the assembly line
- Design 3D models and assemblies ensuring accuracy, precision, and adherence to design specifications
- Collaborate with Supervisor and team members to interpret technical specifications and voice of customers, and convert them into detailed designs
- Create and maintain engineering documentation, including bills of materials (BOMs), and release packages, within Teamcenter and ECTR
- Participate in design reviews in cross-functional meetings to gather feedback on technical insights and recommendations for design improvements
