Associate Director, Capital Risk Oversight (Bangalore)

About the role

The Capital Risk Oversight team reports into the Treasury CRO, in Enterprise Risk Management. The team’s mandate is to provide assurance to senior management and the Group regulator (Prudential Regulation Authority and Bank of England) on issues that could impact the Group’s regulatory capital position in a BAU environment and across the stress continuum.

What you'll do

• Stress Testing Oversight and Challenge
• Support independent 2LOD oversight of regulatory and internal stress tests, including ICAAP, BCST, RPST, RST, climate stress tests
• Provide SME reviews on Treasury risk results, including the evolution of income and balance sheet amounts, including the determination of key judgements embedded therein
• Challenge scenarios, methodologies, assumptions, judgments, results and management actions, ensuring outcomes appropriately reflect the scenario
• Provide independent conclusions on capital resilience, recovery capacity and material vulnerabilities, including the adequacy of remediation against regulatory
