Associate Director | Commodity Strategy - Cables & Harness

About the role

Reporting into the senior leadership team, the role will be responsible for driving the global commodity strategy for the Cables & Harness portfolio while leading a team of Strategic Commodity Managers. They will be resonsible for Developing and executing global commodity strategies for Cables, Harnesses, Connectors, and related electro-mechanical components.

What you'll do

• Building and expanding a robust supplier manufacturing ecosystem across global markets
• Leading supplier negotiations, contract management, performance reviews, and long-term strategic partnerships
• Working closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Procurement, Quality, Finance, and Operations teams to support business growth initiatives
• Identifying supply chain risks and developing mitigation strategies to ensure supply continuity and operational resilience
• Driving supplier-led innovation and early supplier involvement initiatives to improve product quality, manufacturability, and cost competitiveness
