Associate Engineer I - Mechanical Design

About the role

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Mechanical Design Engineer who can support designing engineering components for medium voltage and high voltage switching equipment. This role is crucial for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our existing products while implementing necessary product and process improvements and resolving any emerging issues.

What you'll do

• Designing parts that are feasible for manufacturing process like sheet metal fabrication, casting and plastics
• Set realistic targets and ensure drawings are accurate and completed in a timely manner
• Create necessary documentation, part drawings, engineering bill of materials and assembly drawings as per relevant standards and specifications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including internal and external team members during design and approval process
• Manage Vault ECOs and SAP-based engineering change management process for production orders

What you need

• 3–5 yrs of experience
