About the role

A career in our Financial Services Tax practice, within Corporate Tax services, will provide you with the opportunity to help our clients meet their tax obligations while managing the impact tax has on their business. You’ll advise clients on their local and overseas tax affairs, while acting as a strategic consultant related to business analysis, managing working capital, and profit sharing for partners.

What you'll do

• Assisting in deals advisory projects involving purchase and sale of securities and undertaking technical research, drafting memo and presentations from a tax perspective
• Review of transaction documents as a Deal advisor such as share subscription agreements, share purchase, agreements
• Assisting India and foreign private equity funds in setting up their investment holding structure for undertaking investment
• Analysing and interpreting provisions of the Income-tax Act, 1961 Foreign Exchange Management Act, 1999, SEBI regulations, Companies Act
• Preparing and reviewing of tax computations - withholding tax computation, advance tax, tax returns etc
