Associate II - Engineering Design

About the role

Analyze engineering drawings, BOMs, specifications, and manufacturing processes. Estimate material, labor, machine, tooling, overhead, and logistics costs. Benchmark supplier quotations against should-cost estimates. Identify cost reduction and value engineering opportunities. Support procurement, sourcing, supplier negotiations, and cost recovery initiatives.

What you'll do

• Develop should-cost models using Apriori for fabricated, machined, cast, forged, sheet metal, welded, and assembled components
• Analyze engineering drawings, BOMs, specifications, and manufacturing processes
• Benchmark supplier quotations against should-cost estimates
• Identify cost reduction and value engineering opportunities
• Support procurement, sourcing, supplier negotiations, and cost recovery initiatives

What you need

• 2–3 yrs of experience
• Costing
• CNC operation
• Procurement
• Welding
• B.Tech or B.E. or Diploma

Good to have

• SAP
• ERP
