Associate Manager - Engineering

About the role

The Scada Monitoring Engineer is responsible for the real-time monitoring of wind turbine operations using SCADA systems, ensuring efficient and uninterrupted performance. This role involves tracking key operational metrics, responding to system alarms, and documenting incidents according to established protocols.

What you'll do

• Monitor turbine operations in real-time using SCADA systems, tracking performance metrics such as power output, rotor speed, and grid connection status
• Identify and report deviations from normal operating parameters, coordinating with the SCADA lead for further analysis and corrective actions
• Respond to alarms generated by the SCADA system, following predefined protocols to assess, document, and escalate incidents as necessary
• Maintain accurate records of incidents, actions taken, and outcomes to support continuous improvement and compliance reporting
• Perform data logging and initial analysis of turbine performance data, identifying patterns that may indicate emerging issues or optimization opportunities
