Associate, Payroll Accounting

About the role

The Payroll Accountant supports all duties associated with the accurate recording of payroll, payroll tax compliance, and related financial close activities for the US and UK locations. This role works closely with Human Resources, Corporate Accounting, and the external third-party payroll vendor to ensure payroll is processed, recorded, and reconciled accurately and on schedule.

What you'll do

• Payroll Processing & Support
• Verify and confirm employee entries and changes in the HRIS system (UKG, Ultimate Kronos Group) for payroll processing
• Verify that all timesheets in Ultimate Time Management (UTM) are complete, submitted, and approved for payroll processing
• Prepare reports prior to funding, confirming gross-to-net accuracy, and validating changes against approved documentation
• Process and validate off-cycle payments, final settlements, and retroactive adjustments as needed
