Associate Vice President - Credit Analytics

About the role

The Credit Analytics team sits at the heart of OakNorth's lending business, providing rigorous financial analysis and credit assessment across a diverse portfolio of commercial loan opportunities. We work closely with Debt Directors, Risk, and client-facing teams in the UK to ensure every lending decision is underpinned by deep analytical insight and a thorough understanding of the borrower's operating environment.

What you'll do

• Conduct detailed analysis of loan opportunities across various sectors and geographies
• Draft concise, well-structured credit reports with clear key takeaways for Credit and Risk to review and comment on
• Build detailed financial models covering transaction details, financial statement analysis, projections, ratio analysis, and credit metrics
• Conduct sensitivity analysis and stress testing on projections to assess loan serviceability under adverse scenarios
• Identify deal-specific covenants that can serve as early warning signals for loan monitoring purposes

What you need

• 5–9 yrs of experience
